Associate Account Director - SEO

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to drive organic visibility.
• Integrate AI search methodologies into content plans and client strategies.
• Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, schema markup, and AI visibility.
• Perform keyword and prompt research to identify content gaps and develop optimized briefs.
• Analyze performance data from GSC, GA4, and AI search visibility tools to provide actionable insights.
• Translate complex data sets into narrative-driven reports that demonstrate business ROI.
• Experiment with generative search platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to develop best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure effective implementation of recommendations.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or enterprise environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading AI-driven search initiatives.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console (GSC), GA4, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Strong understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how LLMs surface content.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform data storytelling.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Claude code and API integration.
• Familiarity with emerging GEO tracking methodologies and LLM monitoring tools.
• Advanced prompt-crafting skills for content ideation and evaluation.
• Expertise in developing and validating structured data/schema markup.
