Associate Academic Designer, Science (Labs)

Responsibilities

• Plan 3-dimensional classroom investigations that meet Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) requirements.
• Develop all aspects of classroom and digital investigations, including manuscripts, wireframes, correlations, and materials tracking.
• Research educational trends, content standards, and competitive products to ensure high-quality curriculum.
• Produce pedagogically and scientifically sound products that are accurate, error-free, and grade-level appropriate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet marketing requirements, project schedules, and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life, Earth, or Physical Science.
• Actual NGSS classroom teaching experience.
• Experience planning and developing 3-dimensional investigations for 6-12 grade classrooms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in educational publishing or significant editorial experience.
• Experience with digital curriculum development and digital products.
