About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice to healthcare professionals and patients regarding equipment for the disabled.
  • Coordinate and perform the scheduling, delivery, and in-home setup of rehabilitative equipment.
  • Provide follow-up services including seating adjustments, power equipment programming, maintenance, and component installation.
  • Assist patients with equipment trials and manage the delivery or pickup of loaner and demo equipment.
  • Monitor manufacturer demo equipment for proper storage and processing.
  • Participate in the development of training manuals, customer service documents, and educational materials.
  • Contribute to process improvement endeavors, including policy and procedure review.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license (must obtain within 30 days of employment if not already held).
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including moderate standing/walking and lifting, positioning, pushing, or transferring patients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both engineering and rehabilitation fields.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer engineering.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and software.
