Assisted Living Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise the assisted living nursing service program to ensure high-quality care for residents
• Manage clinical oversight of resident care in assisted living and memory support
• Complete resident assessments and care plans
• Provide staff training and mentorship to nurses, CNAs, and CMTs
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and state/federal regulations
• Report to physicians, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives as needed
• Coordinate resident transfers to appropriate care settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident care and experience

Requirements

• LPN license required
• Current CPR and Adult First Aid certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field
• Successful completion of the 80-hour assisted living manager training program (Maryland only)
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), eMAR, and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of residential information
• Ability to pass a criminal history background check

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility (Virginia only)
