Assisted Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive periodontal care in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Partner with a dedicated hygiene assistant to delegate non-clinical and preparatory tasks
• Maintain an efficient schedule that supports increased patient volume
• Educate patients on periodontal health, disease prevention, and systemic health connections
• Collaborate with the Dentist and care team on periodontal charting and treatment planning

Requirements

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board
• Strong communication skills with patients and team members
• Ability to lead chairside care while working collaboratively with an assistant
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental software
• Experience with Dentrix preferred
