Assistant/Deputy Manager- Air Cargo

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air cargo shipment handling from pick-up to final delivery.
• Enter commercial data into the CargoWise One (CW1) transport management system ensuring high accuracy.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing proactive shipment status updates.
• Coordinate customs clearance, loading, dispatch, and delivery processes.
• Handle customer queries, claims, and conflict resolution professionally.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to support continuous improvement.
• Manage documentation, including issuing and collecting transport documents and maintaining legal records.
• Process supplier invoices and issue client invoices in compliance with corporate regulations.
• Conduct regular retention calls to maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in air cargo shipment handling and freight forwarding operations.
• Proficiency in data entry using CargoWise One (CW1) or similar transport management systems.
• Strong expertise in customs clearance coordination and document management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage invoicing and financial documentation accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
