Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Medicine

Responsibilities

• Direct courses and instruction for first and second-year osteopathic medical students.
• Design and present integrated lectures, seminars, and small group discussions.
• Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of academic programs within the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Conduct scientific scholarship and research in collaboration with faculty, students, and affiliated residency programs.
• Prepare examination questions, grade coursework, and maintain detailed lecture objectives.
• Mentor medical students and supervise authorized patient care events, such as community outreach and health fairs.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and institutional accreditation reporting.

Requirements

• Doctorate in a health-related field.
• Specialization in preventative medicine, health promotion, or public health.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical or academic medicine teaching and leadership.
• Academic rank will be commensurate with training and experience.
