Assistant/Associate Professor-Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology

Responsibilities

• Interpret CBCT, panoramic, and intraoral imaging across predoctoral and specialty clinics
• Provide timely consultative reports to support clinical decision-making
• Deliver predoctoral and postgraduate radiology curriculum through didactic teaching and clinical supervision
• Mentor students and fellows in radiographic interpretation and diagnostic reasoning
• Collaborate with the Oral Radiology Clinic team, including faculty and technicians
• Participate in clinically relevant scholarly activity and institutional service
• Contribute to curriculum updates and the integration of emerging imaging technologies

Requirements

• DDS/DMD degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (or comparable foreign degree)
• Completion of a CODA accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology program
• Board-certified or board-eligible (ABOMR)
• Valid dental license in some state or jurisdiction and eligibility for a license in the State of Wisconsin

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing moderate-to-high CBCT volume (3K+ annually)
• Strong interest in clinical teaching and mentoring
• Proficiency with digital workflows and modern imaging systems
