Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Teach the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum through lectures, seminars, and small group discussions
• Provide clinical service, patient care, and bedside teaching for students in clinical settings
• Design and present integrated course series and prepare examination questions
• Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to the planning and evaluation of academic programs
• Mentor medical students and supervise clinical educational activities
• Participate in clinic quality assurance and departmental committee service

Requirements

• D.O. or M.D. degree
• Board Certification in Pediatrics
• Ability to obtain a Tennessee medical license within the first year of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical or academic medicine teaching and leadership
• Academic rank will be commensurate with training and experience
