Responsibilities

  • Advise and mentor undergraduate students, maintaining accessibility through office hours and electronic communication

  • Participate in departmental, divisional, and institutional meetings and service activities

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in English, Literature, Writing, or a closely related discipline
  • Proven college-level teaching experience
  • Demonstrated capability for scholarly research
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and engage in extensive reading

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
  • A record of successful teaching in diverse academic settings
