Assistant/Associate Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction to students within the Department of Social Science
• Conduct research and engage in creative achievement relevant to the field
• Perform departmental and university service functions
• Contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department

Requirements

• PhD in Criminal Justice or Criminology
• Previous teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching Introduction to Criminology, Introduction to Corrections, Introduction to Courts, Issues and Ethics in Criminal Justice, Drugs and Society, and/or Statistics for Criminal Justice/Criminology
• Experience using Canvas learning management system
• Administrative experience
