Assistant/Associate Professor Nurse Anesthesia

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic instruction in face-to-face or online formats, including simulation center instruction
• Mentor students through scholarly projects and serve as an advisor to assigned cohorts
• Conduct clinical site visits as assigned to ensure program standards
• Assist the Program Director and Associate Program Director in maintaining smooth program operations
• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the DNAP program
• Recruit, interview, and admit applicants to the program
• Maintain current CRNA certification and clinical practice
• Attend professional meetings such as ADCE and AANA for educational updates

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in a related field
• Current RN license
• Current CRNA certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a practicing CRNA
• Previous experience in teaching theory or clinical instruction
