Assistant Youth Sports Coach

About the Company

Amazing Athletes is a youth sports enrichment program that focuses on teaching kids ages 18 months to 12 years old the basics of 10 different sports and activities with an introduction to nutrition, muscle identification, and development of key motor skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coaches in teaching the basics of different sports, activities, nutritional information, and motor development skills
• Travel throughout the Greater Charlotte area to various daycares, preschools, and schools
• Track attendance and keep records of child progress
• Maintain positive relationships with center staff, directors, parents, and staff
• Ensure the safety of all participants
• Support head coaches and occasionally fill in as the head coach when needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass NCDHHS Background and SCSLED Checks
• 1-2 years of childcare experience
• Background in or knowledge of sports
• Reliable transportation for travel to and from locations
• Access to a mobile smart device for rosters and schedules
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods, often outdoors
• Ability to pull or carry up to 40 lbs

Benefits

• $15/hr for Assistant Coach hours
• $20/hr for Head Coach hours
• Paid biweekly
• Mileage reimbursement for travel
• Holiday pay
