Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of a successful college-level intercollegiate athletic program under the leadership of the Head Coach.
• Support student-athletes in their spiritual growth and track their academic progress to ensure success in their program of study.
• Instruct student-athletes in sport-specific skills, tactics, techniques, and individualized workouts.
• Organize and supervise practices, games, and other team workout sessions.
• Adhere to and enforce all NCAA and university rules and regulations.
• Report any known or suspected violations of NCAA or university rules to the Director of Athletics.

Requirements

• A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to integrating Scripture into coaching and student-athlete interactions.
• Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and public speaking contexts.
• Demonstrated strategic planning skills and the ability to assess team strengths and vulnerabilities.
• Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One or more years of successful high school, college, or private coaching experience.
