Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Recruit and evaluate high school and college athletes in accordance with NCAA Division III and college admissions guidelines
• Provide on-field coaching to support athlete skill development and assist in planning practice sessions
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress through grade reports, study skill development, and counseling
• Coordinate team travel and logistics, including transportation, lodging, and meals
• Assist with opponent scouting, fundraising programs, and maintaining communication with parents and alumni
• Comply with all NCAA Division III, Southern Athletics Association (SAA), and Millsaps College guidelines
• Organize community service activities and participate in various college and athletic department initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in physical education, kinesiology, or a relevant field (or an equivalent mix of education and experience)
• Collegiate soccer playing experience
• 1-2 years of coaching experience
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous college coaching experience
• Experience in collegiate recruiting
