Assistant Women's Rowing Coach

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in the development and administration of an NCAA Division I rowing program.
• Provide tactical instruction, individualized skill development, and motivation to student-athletes.
• Assist in planning and executing daily practice sessions and conditioning programs.
• Manage student-athlete recruitment, including scouting, evaluating, and contacting prospective athletes.
• Coordinate team travel logistics and maintain NCAA compliance documentation.
• Operate and transport coaching launches, trucks, and boat trailers safely.
• Collaborate with athletic training, strength and conditioning, and academic advisory staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 years of related experience in coaching or athletic administration.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coaching at the college or NCAA Division I level.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of the Northwest region regarding athletic recruiting.
• Proficiency with sport-specific and compliance software.
