Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting quality student-athletes in alignment with the University mission
• Help develop and maintain a positive team culture and chemistry
• Mentor and counsel student-athletes regarding their athletic and personal development
• Assist in planning and conducting team practices
• Support opponent scouting and the development of game strategies
• Maintain familiarity with University, Landmark Conference, and NCAA regulations
• Represent the Women's Basketball program and River Hawk athletics professionally
• Execute various game day responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or three years of relevant playing and/or coaching experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for university vehicle insurance
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical stamina to effectively coach the sport and move about campus
• Ability to use sport-specific technology and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
