Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of a competitive NCAA Division I women's intercollegiate basketball program.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes and promote Bryant University's academic and athletic programs.
• Ensure program compliance with NCAA, America East Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
• Supervise student assistants and monitor student-athlete academic progress.
• Assist in the development and implementation of clinics, summer camps, and on-campus tryouts.
• Promote sportsmanship among athletes and provide counseling and motivation to student-athletes.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• Collegiate basketball experience, including successful recruiting and coaching.
• Thorough knowledge of NCAA and America East Conference rules and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work non-standard hours.
• Valid driver's license for travel purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling and coordination to support athletic programs.
• Proficiency with related computer applications.
