About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Women’s Wrestling Coach in all aspects of the program, including training, planning, and implementation.
  • Recruit student-athletes committed to both academic and athletic excellence.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all NCAA and Gannon University policies and compliance requirements.
  • Support administrative duties such as fundraising, community service, and academic support.
  • Assist with the design and development of strength and conditioning plans.
  • Help operate and instruct wrestling camps and clinics.
  • Promote a positive student-athlete experience and represent the University professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proven freestyle wrestling experience.
  • Working knowledge of freestyle wrestling techniques and NCAA rules.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior collegiate-level competitive or coaching experience in women's wrestling.
  • Certified strength and conditioning coach credentials.
