Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in organizing and conducting individual and team practices, training sessions, and competitions.
• Support the development and implementation of workout programs, strength, and conditioning routines to improve athletic performance.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including identifying prospects, coordinating visit logistics, and maintaining recruiting records.
• Perform administrative tasks such as equipment inventory, team travel coordination, and managing team apparel.
• Support video operations, including video exchange, editing, and statistical analysis.
• Maintain records and statistics during games and assist in preparing scouting reports.
• Comply with all institutional, conference, and NCAA bylaws and regulations.
• Promote and protect the physical, emotional, and social well-being of student-athletes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 1-2 years of related coaching experience or training.
• Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles and routines.
• Proficiency in basic first aid and CPR/emergency medical practices.
• Ability to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold the University’s Christ-centered mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience coaching within an NCAA program.
