Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead assistant women's soccer coach with specific responsibilities assigned by the head coach
• Attend practices, competitions, meetings, planning sessions, and recruiting activities
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes to support program growth
• Support the holistic development of student-athletes and contribute to a positive team culture
• Assist with athletics event management, game operations, and equipment organization
• Coordinate and supervise student workers and game day staff
• Adhere to all rules and regulations established by Luther College, the Midwest Conference, and the NCAA

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented athletics environment
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• 1–3 years of successful high school or college soccer coaching experience
• Experience with recruiting software, CRMs, or institutional enrollment systems
