Assistant Women's Ice Hockey Coach

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting efforts by using athletics software, conducting mailings, phone calls, and managing communications via Teamworks.
• Assist in scheduling and setting up recruit visits and attending off-campus recruiting events, high school games, and showcase tournaments.
• Assist with practice planning, organization, coaching, scouting, and game preparations.
• Perform competition day duties as determined by the head coach and supervise the team during away competitions.
• Manage the inventory and care of uniforms and team equipment.
• Help organize and participate in fundraising activities.
• Adhere to all NCAA, conference, departmental, and institutional guidelines and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong knowledge of women's ice hockey.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to travel, drive rental vehicles, and work extensive evenings and weekends.
• Ability to demonstrate ice hockey related techniques and physical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate ice hockey playing experience.
