Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor student-athletes, focusing on sport-specific fundamentals, techniques, and game strategies
• Recruit prospective student-athletes through communication, evaluation, campus visits, and social media outreach
• Assist with the planning and execution of practices, individual training sessions, and competitive events
• Support administrative functions including video analysis, statistical tracking, and equipment maintenance
• Manage program logistics such as travel arrangements, budget support, and CARA logs
• Foster a positive team culture centered on academic success and athletic performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of two years of experience in a coaching or teaching role, or prior experience as an athlete in the sport
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, player development, and program organization
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
• Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations (or willingness to learn)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in film breakdown and practice planning
• Experience with performance analytics
