Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential student-athletes
• Assist with skill instruction, motivation, and conducting practice sessions under the head coach's direction
• Utilize Fast Model and Synergy Sports for opponent scouting, film analysis, and game preparation
• Implement and execute player development plans
• Manage home events and teach in the physical education program
• Mentor student-athletes regarding academic progress, leadership, and well-being
• Support the women’s basketball strength and conditioning program
• Coordinate logistics and itineraries for team travel
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
• Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)
• Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of collegiate coaching experience
• Experience as a successful collegiate competitor
• A combination of education and relevant experience demonstrating comparable knowledge
