Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of up to 30 employees per shift
• Act as the deputy for the Hub Manager, including assisting with personnel planning
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and performance management of new team members
• Implement, analyze, and optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient operations
• Delegate tasks while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations
• Take responsibility for daily inventory control, stock management, and order picking
• Monitor and enforce food hygiene and quality standards according to HACCP regulations

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Proven ability to motivate a team and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to lead by example in daily tasks
• Flexibility to work regular late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Experience in retail, gastronomy, or logistics is preferred
• Experience in team or staff leadership is a significant advantage
