Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 30 employees per shift and act as the deputy for the Hub Manager
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
• Implement, analyze, and optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient operations
• Delegate tasks while actively participating in daily hands-on operations
• Take responsibility for daily inventory control, stock management, and order picking
• Monitor quality standards and food hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Assist the Hub Manager with personnel scheduling and planning

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills and a hands-on mentality
• Proven team player with the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment
• High level of resilience and flexibility to work late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Comfortable using modern technology and digital solutions
• Experience in retail, gastronomy, or logistics is preferred, along with leadership experience
