Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Support daily hub operations and ensure smooth order processing within set time windows
• Control and record incoming goods deliveries in the system
• Perform inventory, stock, and freshness checks to maintain quality standards
• Implement food hygiene and quality guidelines (HACCP) in daily operations
• Coordinate shift tasks in coordination with the Hub Manager
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members
• Act as the right hand and deputy to the Hub Manager, working both operationally and organizationally

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills
• Team player with a hands-on mentality and a motivating attitude
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work solution-oriented
• Flexibility to work regular late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in German and English
• Comfortable using modern tech solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food retail, gastronomy, or logistics
• Experience in operational team leadership
