Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Support daily hub operations and ensure smooth order processing within set time windows
• Control and record incoming goods deliveries in the system
• Perform inventory, stock, and freshness checks and assist with regular audits
• Implement and maintain food hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
• Coordinate shift tasks in coordination with the Hub Manager
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members
• Act as the right hand and deputy to the Hub Manager, working both operationally and organizationally
• Contribute to the improvement of existing work processes

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills
• Team player with a hands-on mentality and the ability to motivate others
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a solution-oriented manner
• Flexibility to work regular late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Experience in retail, gastronomy, or logistics is preferred
• Experience in operational team management is a plus
