Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 30 employees per shift and act as a deputy for the Hub Manager
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and performance management of new team members
• Implement, analyze, and optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient operations
• Delegate tasks while actively participating in daily hands-on operations
• Take responsibility for daily inventory control, stock management, and order picking
• Monitor and ensure compliance with food hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
• Assist with staff scheduling and resource planning under the guidance of the Hub Manager

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Proven ability to motivate a team and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• High level of flexibility, including availability for late shifts and weekend work
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Comfortable using modern technology and digital solutions
• Experience in retail, gastronomy, or logistics is preferred, along with leadership experience
