Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Support smooth daily hub operations and order processing according to established processes
• Actively participate in order fulfillment to ensure strict adherence to time windows
• Control and record incoming goods deliveries in the system
• Perform inventory, freshness, and stock checks, and assist with regular audits
• Implement quality and food hygiene standards (HACCP) in daily operations
• Coordinate shift tasks in coordination with the Hub Manager
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of existing work processes
• Act as the right hand and deputy to the Hub Manager, working both operationally and organizationally

• Proactive communicator with the ability to make fast, rational decisions
• Strong team player with a hands-on mentality and a passion for working with people
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and motivate the team daily
• Solution-oriented mindset with a high standard for personal performance
• Flexibility to work regular late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Comfortable using modern technological solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food retail, gastronomy, or logistics
• Experience in operational team management
