Assistant Warehouse Manager/Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Support daily hub operations and ensure smooth workflows according to established processes
• Actively participate in order processing to meet designated time windows
• Control and record incoming goods deliveries in the system
• Perform inventory, freshness, and stock checks, and assist with regular audits
• Implement quality and food hygiene standards (HACCP) in daily operations
• Coordinate shift tasks in coordination with the Hub Manager
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of existing work processes
• Act as the right hand and deputy to the Hub Manager, working both operationally and organizationally

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills
• A true team player who can motivate others and maintain a cool head under pressure
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to delegate tasks while leading by example
• High level of resilience and flexibility, including availability for late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Comfortable using modern technological solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food retail, gastronomy, or logistics
• Experience in operational team management
