Assistant Visiting Professor (Sports Management)

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Sports Management and related areas
• Teach general education courses in alignment with the College’s core curriculum
• Advise and mentor students majoring in Kinesiology, Sports Studies, and Physical Education
• Serve on department, division, and college-wide committees
• Contribute to institutional initiatives in general education and experiential learning
• Support the College’s mission to develop men with disciplined minds who lead lives of leadership and service

Requirements

• Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Sport Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a closely related field
• Ph.D. candidates with a master's in sports management will be considered
• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level
• Evidence of an emerging or established scholarly research agenda in related fields
• Commitment to mentoring undergraduate students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) specifically in Sport Management
