About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Sports Management and related areas
- Teach general education courses in alignment with the College’s core curriculum
- Advise and mentor students majoring in Kinesiology, Sports Studies, and Physical Education
- Serve on department, division, and college-wide committees
- Contribute to institutional initiatives in general education and experiential learning
- Support the College’s mission to develop men with disciplined minds who lead lives of leadership and service
Requirements
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Sport Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a closely related field
- Ph.D. candidates with a master's in sports management will be considered
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level
- Evidence of an emerging or established scholarly research agenda in related fields
- Commitment to mentoring undergraduate students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) specifically in Sport Management
