Assistant Vice President, US Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Meet the company’s regulatory, SEC, and other external financial reporting requirements
• Support external financial reporting activities through end-to-end process management and data accuracy
• Provide accounting technical guidance for regulatory capital and regulatory reporting
• Identify compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
• Leverage data quality analysis skills using tools such as SQL, SAS, and Toad
• Validate BASEL reconciliation Essbase cubes and configuration files
• Perform big data analysis and support compliance under the Regulatory Reporting Governance & Oversight Framework
• Maintain SME knowledge of Capital, Basel Advanced, and Standardized RWA methodology

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Reporting
• Mandatory SAS certification with the ability to develop, execute, and troubleshoot SAS programs
• Proficiency in SAS programming and knowledge of SQL and Toad
• Strong analytical skills specifically related to Basel and Capital Reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple projects concurrently

Preferred Qualifications

• B.SC, B.Tech, or MBA degree in finance, accounting, or analytics
• Experience in US Regulatory Reporting
• Advanced degree in SAS programming
• Project management experience or certification
• Experience in Financial Services analytics
