Assistant Vice President: Private Markets Product Development: API Connectivity

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic workstreams in product development and API connectivity for Private Markets within the State Street Core Data division.
• Analyze business needs, workflows, and data requirements to document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
• Plan and prioritize the product development backlog, including stories and epics, to ensure alignment with product strategy.
• Act as a primary liaison between business and technology teams to support product demand and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with software developers and tech leaders to develop solutions for Alternative products accounting systems.
• Manage the onboarding lifecycle, including solution design, integration, testing, implementation, and BAU handover.
• Lead teams through agile-driven projects to ensure iterative success throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in product management and business analysis.
• Proven experience within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in writing SQL code for data analysis.
• Technical knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and APIs.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong ability to translate non-technical user needs into technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Alternative Investments.
• Familiarity with Geneva, Investran, or ISS applications.
