About the role
Responsibilities
- Support negotiation and contracting for operating agreements, leases, and permits
- Identify and execute redevelopment opportunities and capital projects
- Develop financial underwriting and oversee financial modeling
- Partner with Business Operations to prepare annual revenue and expense budgets
- Manage day-to-day asset management including tenant communications and lease pipelines
- Manage arrears, collections, and insurance issues
- Serve as a key external representative and participate in special projects with city agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in real estate development, asset management, urban planning, or related fields
- Experience with property management, lease administration, and tenant relations
- Strong financial analysis and project management skills
- Excellent strategic and persuasive communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must reside in New York City within 180 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field
