Assistant Vice President - IT Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals
• Lead modernization initiatives including cloud migration, automation, and digital transformation
• Oversee day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure including incident, problem, and change management
• Serve as the escalation point for complex IT operational issues and incidents
• Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of systems and services
• Oversee disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives
• Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and support staff
• Ensure infrastructure complies with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives

Requirements

• 18 to 25 years of total experience
• 10+ years as an IT Operations Leader in a Software or BPO company
• B.E/BTech degree
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management (cloud and on-premise)
• Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Nagios
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Python
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM platforms
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR
• Understanding of data governance and IP protection for KPO operations
