Assistant Vice President - HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR partner to business heads, aligning talent requirements with business strategy and forecasting future needs.
• Lead the strategic design and implementation of regional HR initiatives and organizational change management.
• Manage the end-to-end Compensation and Benefits function for operations in India and Sri Lanka, including annual salary reviews and benchmarking.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and career development programs.
• Ensure compliance with local employment and labor laws, including the development of roadmaps for upcoming regulatory changes.
• Oversee HR governance, including audit readiness, policy development, and maintaining accurate HRIS documentation.
• Partner with union members to foster collaborative and positive working relationships.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws and current regulations.
• Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and database management.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across various business functions.
• High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
