About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the second-in-command for Central Operations, driving day-to-day execution of data management, policy endorsements, and revenue booking.
  • Lead and coach a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage workloads, meet client timelines, and build leadership capability.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of policy endorsements and data changes, ensuring all insurer and TPA data is reconciled and validated.
  • Drive automation and productivity improvements by identifying opportunities to use advanced Excel, macros, and process redesign.
  • Manage operational KPIs including turnaround time (TAT), accuracy, backlog, and productivity using a metrics-first approach.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues and act as a stabilizing force during high-volume periods or client escalations.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree.
  • 10–12 years of experience in insurance operations or policy servicing.
  • Proven experience leading operational teams in high-volume, SLA-driven environments.
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and macro-based automation.
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations within the Employee Benefits segment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools.
  • Proven track record of driving large-scale automation and process improvement initiatives.
