About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy, organizational design, and talent initiatives
- Lead comprehensive talent strategies including recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and leadership development
- Oversee employee experience, engagement strategies, and employee relations processes
- Direct total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, Title IX, EEO)
- Optimize HR operations, systems, and analytics across multiple campuses
- Lead organizational development, performance management, and professional development programs
- Provide leadership for HR teams across institutions to support growth and integration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, organizational development, and employment law compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Proven ability to influence and partner with executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA, MHR, or related field)
- Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or multi-entity environments
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent professional certification
- Experience leading HR functions across multiple campuses or organizations
