About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy, organizational design, and talent initiatives
  • Lead comprehensive talent strategies including recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Oversee employee experience, engagement strategies, and employee relations processes
  • Direct total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and workforce planning
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, Title IX, EEO)
  • Optimize HR operations, systems, and analytics across multiple campuses
  • Lead organizational development, performance management, and professional development programs
  • Provide leadership for HR teams across institutions to support growth and integration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent management, organizational development, and employment law compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MBA, MHR, or related field)
  • Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or multi-entity environments
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent professional certification
  • Experience leading HR functions across multiple campuses or organizations
