About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to operationalize the strategic vision for academic programs through innovation and creativity.
  • Collaborate with Deans to ensure efficient daily operations and the achievement of strategic objectives for their respective schools and colleges.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with Deans and faculty while working collaboratively with campus Vice Presidents.
  • Guide external academic program approval processes, institutional accreditation, re-accreditation, and internal program reviews.
  • Ensure consistent administration of academic policies and processes across all campus departments and units.
  • Provide leadership in curriculum and program development to advance the teaching and learning environment.
  • Direct Deans and academic department heads to meet or exceed enrollment, retention, and graduation targets.
  • Oversee prudent resource allocation and class/section size management using data-driven decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and shared governance to fulfill the mission of the campus and University.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution (Ph.D. preferred).
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience in senior-level university administration.
  • Proven experience with institutional accreditations and faculty rank processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with academic assessment and promotion processes.
  • Strong executive leadership skills, including strategic thinking and visionary leadership.
  • Excellent collaboration, consensus-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
