About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and investment structures, including funds and special purpose vehicles.
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Manage quarterly and annual financial close processes, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
- Perform consolidation activities such as elimination entries, intercompany reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation and process improvements within the Workday ERP environment.
- Manage and develop the Accounting team in the Hyderabad office.
- Partner with global finance, tax, treasury, and legal teams to support reporting requirements and audits.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Strong expertise in US GAAP and consolidation accounting.
- Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring accounting teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong reconciliation, analysis, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of investment entities, multi-entity consolidation, or fund structures.
- Experience with Workiva and Workday financials.
