Assistant Vice President - FCS People Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage operations within the Financial Crime Solutions (FCS) business area to ensure efficient processes and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of operational professionals to improve delivery quality and career development.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement through the analysis of operational data and performance metrics.
• Develop and manage KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operational functions using data and technology.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and external vendors to align operations with bank objectives and SLAs.
• Mitigate risk and strengthen controls by developing new policies and procedures in support of the governance agenda.
• Manage workforce attrition by working closely with HR to implement effective retention initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, and internal control environments.
• Experience supporting financial crime processes, such as sanctions screening, adverse media screening, or AML-related workflows.
• Ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources to solve problems and influence decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey sensitive or complex information to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive operational effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining an effective Operational Risk Control environment.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and technology to drive operational improvements.
