Assistant Vice President, Corporate Actions

Responsibilities

• Manage the reconciliation and distribution of dividends and cash corporate actions
• Analyze, research, and interpret corporate action terms and conditions according to established policies
• Input corporate action blocks, restrictions, and trading comments into the Securities Finance system
• Calculate entitlements based on corporate action terms and process requisite adjustments for securities borrowed and on loan
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide corporate action information and relevant deadlines
• Reconcile pending/open borrowed and loaned positions with participating parties
• Ensure the team meets agreed SLA, KPI, and KRI targets through daily documentation
• Identify and analyze operational risks and recommend procedural improvements
• Manage projects and people to ensure timely resolution of counterparty issues and process improvements

Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience in the corporate action life cycle
• Strong knowledge of Agency/Principal Securities lending and borrowing business
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related financial program
• Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work US shift hours (6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Equilend, Pirum, Captain, MCH, or DTC applications
• Knowledge of Investment Banking, Custodial Services, and Financial Markets
• Certifications such as NCFM or NCCMP are an advantage
