About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement improvement projects impacting people, process and tools
- Handle complex project implementation within stipulated timeframes
- Nurture client relationships to manage project delivery
- Engage with internal and client teams to define current and future state processes
- Develop and maintain exhaustive project plans
- Define project success criteria and critical paths
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
- Lead weekly project review calls and report project status
- Manage Process or Account Governance activities
- Complete PMP certification within 9 months of starting the role
Requirements
- Over 15 years of overall professional experience
- More than 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Experience managing multiple projects and driving change
- Experience leading a team of project managers
- Ability to identify risks and execute mitigation plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of business operations
- Agile Scrum, PMP, or Prince 2 certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance Certification (e.g., CII or INS/CPCU)
- Lean or Six Sigma training/certification
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Visio, and MS Word
