Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Digital Transformation Unit

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvement projects impacting people, process and tools
• Handle complex project implementation within stipulated timeframes
• Nurture client relationships to manage project delivery
• Engage with internal and client teams to define current and future state processes
• Develop and maintain exhaustive project plans
• Define project success criteria and critical paths
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
• Lead weekly project review calls and report project status
• Manage Process or Account Governance activities
• Complete PMP certification within 9 months of starting the role

Requirements

• Over 15 years of overall professional experience
• More than 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Experience managing multiple projects and driving change
• Experience leading a team of project managers
• Ability to identify risks and execute mitigation plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of business operations
• Agile Scrum, PMP, or Prince 2 certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance Certification (e.g., CII or INS/CPCU)
• Lean or Six Sigma training/certification
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Visio, and MS Word
