Assistant Vice President, Asset Services

Responsibilities

• Manage business-as-usual processes for corporate actions and income events to ensure accuracy and deadline compliance
• Oversee daily operations of outsourced income processing functions through robust checks and controls
• Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including optional dividends and coupon processes
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and proactively manage outstanding cash items with counterparties
• Liaise with external counterparties to confirm voluntary event instructions and ensure timely execution
• Collaborate with Settlements and Derivatives Trade Support teams to maintain accurate static data
• Ensure adherence to CASS rules regarding client money segregation and continuous procedure improvement

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate actions or income processing within investment banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of front-to-back processing flows for mandatory and voluntary corporate action events
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically using Vlookups, Pivot Tables, and Graphs for data analysis
• Knowledge of how corporate events impact derivatives positions and associated processing requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build relationships across global teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage large workloads under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with automation initiatives within corporate actions or income processes
• Experience with Swift messaging platforms, IntelliMatch reconciliation tools, or Broadridge Gloss
• Strong presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint or Power BI
• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional qualification
