Assistant Varsity & Head JV Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Soccer Coach with all aspects of the varsity soccer program, including practice planning, scouting, player development, recruiting, and game preparation
• Serve as the Head Coach for the Junior Varsity (JV) team, responsible for scheduling, training, and supervising all JV contests and practices
• Recruit and retain student-athletes in alignment with the mission and values of Williams Baptist University
• Mentor student-athletes academically, spiritually, and athletically in support of the university's holistic educational mission
• Adhere to all NAIA, American Midwest Conference, and WBU policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach and the Director of Athletics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Active follower of Jesus Christ with a commitment to the University’s spiritual and academic mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Previous soccer coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and mentor student-athletes
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
