Assistant Unit Manager

About the Company

Capio Geriatrik Löwet is a clinic with strong collegial cohesion specializing in general geriatric care. We treat patients with complex needs, including infections, cardiovascular diseases, COPD, diabetes, stroke, and orthopedic issues, using a multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager and act as their substitute during absences
• Perform clinical duties as a nurse (40%) and administrative work (60%)
• Work strategically with quality development, driving projects and improvement processes
• Supervise and coach assistant nurses and nurses, with a focus on mentoring new staff
• Participate in recruitment processes
• Plan and implement training and induction programs
• Support scheduling and staffing planning
• Manage personnel responsibilities

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a nurse in acute inpatient care
• Experience working with quality systems
• Ability to lead, motivate, and drive projects
• Strong collaborative and structured work approach
• Previous experience in coaching or taking responsibility is a plus
