Assistant Track & Field/Cross Country Coach

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in the recruitment, management, training, and coaching of the Track & Field and Cross Country teams
• Assist with the organization of team equipment, practices, team travel, and fundraising efforts
• Coordinate practice, film, or training sessions with specific positional groups or assigned players
• Assist with athlete recruitment, including campus visits, prospect camps, and scouting
• Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of all athletes
• Work cooperatively with other departmental personnel to support the goals of the Athletics Program

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior coaching experience or competitive Track & Field/Cross Country experience
