Assistant Track and Field Coach (Throws)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Track Coach with all aspects of the track and field program, specifically focusing on the Throws event group
• Coach, teach, and train student-athletes in throwing events, adapting methods to meet individual needs
• Recruit prospective student-athletes to grow and strengthen the program
• Manage throws events during meets and assist with other meet-related duties as assigned
• Support roster management and assist athletes in establishing eligibility

Requirements

• Associate’s degree
• One year of experience playing or coaching at the collegiate level
• Proven ability to recruit and retain student-athletes
• Strong leadership, organizational, and scheduling skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
