Assistant Track and Field Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Track Coach with all aspects of the track and field program
• Coach a specific assigned event group, including all teaching and training responsibilities
• Recruit prospective student-athletes and assist with program retention
• Manage assigned events during meets and perform other meet-related duties as assigned
• Assist with roster management and help athletes establish eligibility
• Plan and schedule training sessions and competitions

Requirements

• Associate's degree
• One year of experience playing or coaching at the collegiate level
• Effective leadership skills and excellent knowledge of the sport
• Ability to recruit and retain student-athletes
• Strong organizational skills for planning and scheduling
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
